Job Description – Senior Lead Engineer -Hybrid Model- Stress Analysis

In this role the Senior Lead Engineer-Stress Analysis will actively involve in structural analysis of Aerostructures Components.

Position: Senior Lead Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and Perform structural analysis (static, fatigue and damage tolerance) for primary and secondary aircraft structures using both classical hand calculations and Finite Element Method (FEM).
• Generate documentation to report the analysis results.
• Able to take ownership and handle the project with minimum dependency.
• Ensure the analysis tasks are completed within the stipulated time and high quality.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills with the ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams and SBU, while exhibiting a proactive, go-getter attitude.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on Nacelle Systems for Commercial aircraft programs such as B787, A320neo, A220, A350.
• Experience in structural analysis of Metallic and Composite aircraft components and assemblies.
• Expertise in load path, load balance, free body diagram, classical hand analysis methods and Finite Element Method (FEM) used in Aerospace structural analysis using MSC Nastran / PATRAN.
• Proficient in independently interpreting stress reports, certification documents, and substantiation analyses.
• Excellent technical articulation and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as TCL/Tk, Python and Visual Basic is an added advantage.
