- Tender Analysis: Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and eligibility criteria to understand the project scope and requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, using estimation software and tools.
- Bid Preparation: Draft and submit competitive techno-commercial bids, highlighting cost breakdowns and timelines, in compliance with tender documents.
- Value Engineering: Identify and propose alternative solutions, materials, and designs to optimize costs and improve project value.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors, negotiate for competitive pricing, and maintain supplier relationships.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties within the tender and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Documentation: Maintain an organized database of tender documents, proposals, and related communications.
- Compliance: Ensure all bids and proposals comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (design, engineering, procurement, project management) and external stakeholders to gather necessary data and ensure project alignment.
