Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Telugu Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that nurtures language proficiency, cultural understanding, and appreciation for the Telugu language and literature.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Telugu lessons as per the curriculum.

Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials that encourage interactive learning.

Assess and monitor students' progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.

Student Engagement

Encourage reading, writing, and speaking skills in Telugu.

Organize activities such as debates, recitations, drama, and cultural events related to the Telugu language.

Provide extra support to students who need additional guidance.

Curriculum & Development

Align teaching with school academic standards and examination requirements.

Participate in curriculum planning and contribute to innovative teaching practices.

Collaboration & Administration

Maintain student records, attendance, and performance reports.

Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and parents for student progress.

Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Professional Ethics

Uphold school policies and discipline in the classroom.

Promote cultural respect, inclusivity, and values through teaching.

Skills Description

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telugu, Literature, or related field (B.Ed. mandatory).

Prior teaching experience in a school setting (minimum 2–3 years preferred).

Strong command over written and spoken Telugu.

Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, lesson planning, and classroom management.

Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
