Job description
We are looking for an experienced Outside Garments Quality checker to ensure the highest standards of quality for our garments. The candidate will be responsible for Checking, measuring, and Verifying Garments at Vendors'/Factories locations before dispatch to ensure they meet company Quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks on garments at outside vendor/factory locations.
- Inspect stitching, fabric quality, trims, measurements, and finishing as per the approved sample.
- Identify defects and communicate corrective actions to Vendors.
- Ensure production follows buyer requirements and company quality standards.
- Maintain inspection reports and submit them to the quality Manager.
- Coordinate with the production team, vendors, and internal QA team for issue resolution.
- Monitor packing and labeling compliance before shipment.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Garments Quality checker (Preferably in outside/Vendor inspection).
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching, and Finishing.
- Ability to identify defects and suggest corrective actions.
- Familiar with AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and quality audit Procedures.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendors/factories as required.
