Role: Senior Geospatial Strategist / GIS & Data Engineer

Location:
Hyderabad (Hybrid — 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Type:
Full-Time | High Impact | Builder Role

In this role, you will lead the design and development of
geospatial data pipelines, spatial analytics models, and decision intelligence layers
for real-world implementation. You will work closely with domain experts (climate, agriculture, energy, urban planning), data scientists, and platform engineering teams to transform complex datasets into
actionable insights, dashboards, and policy-ready outputs
.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain
  GIS data models, spatial analysis workflows, and geospatial databases
  (PostGIS, SpatiaLite, BigQuery GIS, etc.)
• Process and analyze
  satellite imagery, remote sensing datasets, climate data, and geospatial time-series
• Build automated pipelines
  for spatial analytics, land-cover classification, emissions mapping, and environmental intelligence
• Develop
  interactive geospatial dashboards, visualizations, and digital twin layers
• Work cross-functionally with engineering + domain teams to integrate GeoAI outputs into real products
• Evaluate new geospatial methods, cloud-native workflows, and sensor data sources
  to support innovation

Qualifications & Skills

Required

• Strong experience in
  GIS, Remote Sensing, Spatial Data Processing, and Geoanalytics
• Proficiency in Python
  (geopandas, rasterio, GDAL, xarray, scikit-learn) and
  SQL/PostGIS
• Hands-on experience with GIS tools
  (QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)
• Understanding of
  geospatial data formats, projections, tiling, and raster/vector workflows
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with
  Cloud Platforms
  (AWS / GCP / Azure), STAC/OGC APIs, Docker, or Airflow
• Familiarity with
  Machine Learning for spatial analytics or remote sensing
• Experience with Web Mapping & Visualization
  (Leaflet, , Mapbox, Cesium)
• Interest in climate-tech, sustainability, or digital twins
