You will be working as the Head Controlling in our Accounting, Finance & Control and IT Department in the Subdivision AFC. This department works ardently towards delivering accounting and financial reporting services to the organization. It accomplishes key responsibilities comprising accounts payable and receivable, treasury, inventory, payroll, fixed assets, budgeting, tax compliance and all other financial elements. The department significantly facilitates in the integral aspect of determining funds and investments for optimal financial health and smooth operation of the organization.
Your Job Role Summary
You will spearhead and lead the team to compile and present management accounts, budgets and forecasts. You will set up robust processes in place to ensure budgetary compliance in respect of all costs, so that all costs are strictly controlled, and wastages and abnormal costs are promptly identified and highlighted and corrective actions taken to eliminate them in future. You will also be responsible for Inventory control.
Your key deliverables will be
- Performing regular review and evaluation of key operational and financial data with business leaders including root cause analyses and, if necessary, development of corrective action plans to address performance.
- Leading company forecasting and budgeting efforts, preparing financial summaries, trends and condition for the executive team.
- Benchmarking cost processes and PVPL finance reports with the best industry practices.
- Controlling over two key constituents of working capital, namely inventory and receivables, including provisioning for any loss in value thereof.
- Performing financial evaluation of new projects with current and future economic and business scenarios.
- Steering teams to prepare budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data.
- Achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Augmenting and closely monitoring the departments operations to ensure integrity, confidentiality and security of financial information and plans.
- Investigating and critique variances to budget or to prior year and offer insight to improvement methodologies.
- Review new product STD cost and discuss finding with Purchase and R&D team.
- PO rates evaluation and map raw material price increase with indexation available in contract.
- Standard costing & actual costing: - analysis including assessment of budget vs. actuals for manufacturing and product costs; investigating cycle count variances and resolved issues.
- Set a process for forecasting of material cost with purchase Team.
- Inventory Valuation & constantly monitoring of slow moving & non-Moving inventory update to management to those inventories who are in stock for long term with action plan for use of those inventory.
- Developing and growing the team by initiating appropriate training activities, guidance and coaching to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
Essential Qualification
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting.
- Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant.
Desired Qualification
- Masters in business administration.
- CPA.
- CMA.
Work Experience
- At least 15 Years of Experience with prior leadership exposure.
Preferred Industry Experience
- Automobile / Manufacturing industry.
- FMCG industry .
Preferred Technical Skills and Certification
- Extremely good knowledge of Costing and Budgeting process, including variance analysis.
- Excellent analytics skills translating to strong financial modeling skills.
- Orientation to FI-CO SAP ERP Modules.
- Good knowledge of legislations related to financial reporting .
