Role Overview

Chat360 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Lead with at least 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The QA Lead will be responsible for leading the testing efforts of our conversational AI products, ensuring high product quality through a blend of automation and manual testing. The role requires hands-on involvement in test strategy, execution, team building, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team to deliver thorough testing of complex conversational AI products based on LLMs and chatbots.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for automation and manual testing covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to understand features, acceptance criteria, and technical design.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Participate in product requirement reviews and sprint planning to ensure testability and readiness.
  • Monitor testing metrics and quality indicators, provide regular status reports to leadership.
  • Build and grow a high-performing QA team: recruitment, training, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Lead root cause analysis for bugs and drive closure with development teams.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, new tools, and emerging trends in AI/ML product testing.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands-on experience in automation and manual testing.
  • Proven track record as a QA Lead or similar role, including team building, mentoring, and project ownership.
  • Strong expertise testing complex software products, ideally in AI, machine learning, or chatbot domains.
  • Solid skills with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experience with API testing and performance/load testing tools.
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and associated testing practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup or product-based environments is a plus.
