JOB SUMMARY We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to monitor, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes related to boom pump production. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality standards, conducting inspections, and collaborating with production and design teams to resolve quality issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct inspections (incoming, in-process, final) for materials, components, and products Ensure weld compliance with standards Verify dimensional and functional accuracy of components and assemblies Adhere to ISO 9001, ASTM, DIN, or other applicable standards Monitor customer and regulatory compliance Review and analyze production for quality gaps and corrective actions Collaborate with production team to reduce defects and enhance reliability Use problem-solving tools like 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why for recurring issues Maintain quality control records Generate and review quality metrics for management updates Collaborate with procurement and suppliers on raw material quality Perform supplier audits and provide actionable feedback Train staff on quality standards and best practices Conduct quality awareness sessions for operators and team leads

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Experience: 5+ years in a quality assurance role

Special Skills: Strong knowledge of QA tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, MSA) Proficiency in measurement instruments (callipers, micrometres, CMM) Familiarity with ERP systems Basic knowledge of Solid Edge or similar CAD software

Certification/License: Knowledge of safety standards and environmental compliance
