Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Engineer located in Pune. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for executing tests, ensuring quality, creating and managing test cases, and performing manual and software testing. The individual will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making sure that designing, development, engineering and manufacturing processes are performed correctly using the right tools, techniques, materials, and processes
  • Know the procedures for Quality testing of Electronic components
  • Develop and update Quality plan for all products and customizations
  • Contribute for effective implementation of QMS with setting best quality assurance practices and controlling non-conformities and deviations observed during inspection process
  • Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data making recommendations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Conduct vendor assessment periodically
  • Ensure periodic calibration of measuring instruments
  • Analyze possible risks, prepare, and implement mitigation plan
  • Prepare and maintain Inspection checklists as per requirement
  • Review product specifications (Hardware and Software both)
  • Ensure 5 S maintenance in Production, Workshop and Stores area
  • Track and reduce Rejection /Rework
  • Maintain NC register and carry out Root Cause Analysis as and when required
  • Ensure best quality of products and other deliverables
  • Must have a knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 27001:2022

Qualification

  • Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical
  • ASQ Certification Preferred

Experience

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Manufacturing
