The Senior Manager - Data Analyst will be responsible for driving portfolio performance analytics, developing data-driven insights, and ensuring accuracy in business projections and reporting. The role involves hands-on work in SQL for data transformation, portfolio monitoring, segmentation, forecasting, and providing data support for system implementations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform advanced data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SQL within the data mart environment.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various systems (LMS, data mart, and MIS).
  • Support data integration during new system implementations, including reconciliation between offline sources and databases.
  • Prepare and analyze vintage reports, customer segmentation, and portfolio performance dashboards.
  • Track and report key portfolio performance metrics such as bounce rates, DPD, and flow rates.
  • Create portfolio performance projections and support AOP (Annual Operating Plan) number forecasting for BNC, 30+, and 90+ delinquency buckets
  • Maintain awareness of credit policies and eligibility parameters; hands-on policy design experience will be an added advantage.
  • Track collection efficiency, resolution rates, and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Use SQL and Python (optional) for data automation, transformation, and predictive modeling.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines supporting advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
  • Generate timely and accurate MIS reports to support decision-making
  • Partner with business, credit, and collections teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.

Functional Competencies :

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Python for data processing or machine learning (optional but preferred).
  • Experience in portfolio analysis, vintage tracking, and forecasting.
  • Understanding credit policy parameters, collections tracking, and portfolio risk metrics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, or other visualization tools.
