Job Summary:

The AVP – Information Technology plays a strategic and operational leadership role, overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and technology innovation within the organization. This role ensures robust, secure, and scalable IT systems that align with SEBI, exchange, and regulatory requirements while supporting business growth, trading platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Leadership & Strategy:

Lead the design and execution of IT strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring high availability and scalability of trading systems and platforms.

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Management:

Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of hybrid infrastructure (on-premise + cloud).Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, Azure VM and IAM.Ensure regulatory compliance while leveraging cloud for non-core workloads such as backups, DR, analytics, and support systems.Monitor cloud usage using Grafana, CloudWatch, and enforce cost control, security policies, and tagging strategy.

  • Cybersecurity & Compliance:

Implement cybersecurity frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance (SEBI, NSE, BSE, MCX, etc.), manage audits, and handle VAPT, SOC, SIEM tools, and endpoint security (e.g., SECEON, Fortinet, Secqrite EPS).

  • Vendor & Project Management:

Manage vendors, service providers, and technology projects, including software rollouts, BCP/DR drills, and IT upgrades.

  • IT Governance & Policies:

Develop, implement, and regularly update IT policies (ITIL-based), SOPs, information security policies, and ensure adoption across departments.

  • Incident & Change Management:

Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and change management processes to maintain operational continuity.

  • Team Leadership:

Mentor and lead the IT team, ensuring skills development, performance tracking, and capacity building to meet current and future technology needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT roles, with at least 3–5 years in leadership within financial services or stock broking domain.
  • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets technologies, APIs, FIX/OMS/RMS systems, and real-time trading infrastructure.
  • Certifications like ITIL, CISM, CISSP, or cloud (AWS/Azure) preferred.
