Role In Nutshell
The AI Research & Strategy team is responsible for identifying and shaping short-term and long-term opportunities where AI can create significant impact across different markets and product lines, accelerating BrowserStack's growth. This role involves deeply understanding AI capabilities and limitations, and translating them into actionable business opportunities and product strategies. Reporting to the Senior Manager, AI Strategy, this individual will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and AI/Engineering teams to define the vision for AI at BrowserStack, backed by strong hypotheses and data-driven insights.
Desired Experience*

• The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years' experience with at least 3+ years experience in management consulting
• Has deep acumen in technology, with the ability to distinguish real capabilities from hype, and translate them into practical business opportunities and long-term value for BrowserStack and its customers. (Experience with AI technology is a +)
• Has superior strategic, analytic, and problem-solving skills, and is capable of clearly communicating a long-term vision across the company and clients.
• Is integrated into the developer or SAAS market ecosystem stay current on competitive and market trends, and brings those insights to inform Product strategy
• Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and strong executive presence. Must be disciplined and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels and a global matrixed organization
• Exhibit relevant and consistent leadership behaviours in team management, customer communications, and internal interactions with peers, senior management, clients, and third-party vendors.
• Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate multiple complex cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels

*What will you do?*

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of AI trends, emerging technologies, competitor approaches, and developer/customer needs, and formulate data-driven strategies to unlock new AI-driven growth opportunities for BrowserStack.
• Lead key projects and work streams related to BrowserStack's overall AI strategy, shaping the long-term vision and presenting actionable recommendations to the Executive Committee.
• Identify, prioritize, structure, and evaluate high-impact AI use cases across product lines, balancing technical feasibility with business value, including long-term monetization and commercialization strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and AI R&D—to ensure seamless translation of AI strategies into practical product initiatives and customer-facing capabilities.
• Take ownership of the entire AI initiative lifecycle: from concept exploration and hypothesis formulation to pilot execution, scaling, and outcome assessment. Ensure strategies deliver measurable business impact, with a strong focus on tangible dollar benefits.
• Navigate a rapidly evolving and often ambiguous AI landscape with limited direction, driving rigorous, fact-based recommendations for executives, product leaders, and technical stakeholders.
