Birmingham Industries Pvt Ltd operates across multiple industries including
finance, trading, agriculture, and logistics. We also assist Newton Global Commercial
Business Ltd. (NGCB), a UAE-based financial brokerage company providing competitive
tools and technologically driven platforms that can capture opportunities in the global capital
markets. We are expanding this compliance team and searching for a Back Office Analyst
with excellent analytical and a strategic mindset who can fit into our quality-focused and
growing organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform routine Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) related checks for seamless customer experience.
- Work closely with compliance, risk, and legal teams to resolve KYC files and facilitate smooth client onboarding.
- Ensure documents are audited and reminders are sent to customers and agents to complete the onboarding process.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to regulatory bodies.
- Train new team members on AML/KYC policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
- Ensure that all payments are processed accurately in a timely manner and in accordance with the regulatory standards.
- Maintain financial records, reconcile transactions, and provide reports regarding daily influx of deposits and withdrawals to the operations team.
- Manage margin requirements to support seamless transactions and trading activities.
- Conduct payment audits and analyze transactions to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor transactions to detect suspicious activities and escalate cases for further investigation.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports of the tasks managed as per the set templates of each of the departments.
- Ensure smooth and seamless correspondence between all teams and departments regarding information pertaining to the handled task.
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with the NGCB UAE team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations, client onboarding, payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools; experience with CRM/transaction monitoring systems is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to identify red flags in transactions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage routine checks, audits, and reporting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with operations, customer support, and other teams.
- Proactive mindset with problem-solving skills and capability to handle escalations.
