Job Title

Dispatch & Inventory Planning Executive (FMCG / Supply Chain)

Role Purpose

To ensure seamless order fulfillment by planning dispatches, managing inventory, coordinating with logistics and sales teams, and optimizing cost and service levels across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Planning: Examine finished goods at warehouses and create daily/weekly dispatch plans aligned with customer orders.

Inventory Management: Allocate and dispatch SKUs efficiently as per the approved plan to maintain healthy stock levels and reduce write-offs.

Order Fulfillment: Plan, schedule, and dispatch all customer/party orders on time, ensuring high service levels.

Logistics Coordination: Align with the logistics team to ensure timely placement of vehicles, adherence to transport regulations, and smooth material movement.

Cost Optimization: Monitor and implement actions to optimize transportation and logistics costs while maintaining service standards.

Stock Movement Monitoring: Track article movement across locations; work with Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to accelerate movement of slow/aging SKUs.

Ledger & Stock Analysis: Analyze stock ledger and availability to create realistic and achievable dispatch plans.

Ageing Inventory Control: Identify and prioritize movement of aging SKUs through order allocation and sales coordination.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with ASMs and other stakeholders to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of FMCG supply chain, warehousing, and dispatch operations

Strong inventory control and demand planning skills

Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and MS Excel

Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred)

2–5 years of experience in dispatch planning, inventory management, or logistics (FMCG/Consumer Goods experience desirable)

Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems and basic supply chain KPIs
