Job Description:
The Chinese Commi-1 is responsible for preparing and cooking Chinese dishes as per recipe standards, assisting senior chefs, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Chinese cuisine items.
- Assist in daily mise-en-place and ingredient preparation.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Follow recipe standards and proper Chinese cooking techniques (stir-fry, wok handling, steaming).
- Ensure workstation cleanliness and proper organization during service.
- Store and label food materials properly using FIFO.
- Check freshness, quality, and portion size of ingredients.
- Operate wok burners, steamers, and other equipment safely.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene as per FSSAI/HACCP guidelines.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
- Support CDP/Sous Chef during peak hours and special orders.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely order execution.
- Assist in stock receiving, checking, and daily inventory.
- Follow kitchen SOPs, discipline, and instructions from senior chefs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹19, ₹20,000.00 per month
