Job Description:
The M365 Administrator - MS Teams supports the overall administration of MS teams and Microsoft 365 applications and services, focusing on day-to-day operations and user support. This role is essential for maintaining the functionality and performance of the MS teams and M365 environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teams and Telephony Solutions
Assist in setting up and managing Microsoft Teams for collaboration, including channels and meetings. Support the integration of telephony solutions within Teams to enhance communication.
2. Exchange and Email Management
Assist in the administration of Exchange Online, including managing mail flow, distribution lists, and mailbox configurations.
Provide support for email-related issues, ensuring effective communication across the organization.
2. OneDrive Administration
Support OneDrive for Business management, ensuring user access and data integrity.
4. Device Management with Intune and Autopilot
Assist in deploying and managing devices using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Monitor device enrolment and management issues, providing troubleshooting support as needed.
5. Security and Compliance
Help configure security settings and compliance requirements for Microsoft Teams
Collaborate with IT and security teams to maintain compliance with industry standards.
6. User Support and Training
Provide training and support to end-users on MS teams and Microsoft 365 applications and features.
Document processes and maintain configurations related to Microsoft Teams.
7. Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Stay informed about new features and capabilities of Microsoft Teams, providing feedback for improvements.
8. Documentation and Process Management
Document and maintain Microsoft Teams configurations, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with senior administrators to implement best practices and optimize system performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration or IT support.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange, Teams, Intune, and Autopilot, with at least one year experience in managing Teams telephony and MS teams configurations.
Basic knowledge of PowerShell and scripting is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
