Job Description

As a Java Backend Engineer at SISC, you will design and build large-scale backend systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor engineers. You will play a key role in ensuring service reliability, scalability, and quality, while actively contributing to coding and technical problem-solving.

Role & Responsibilities

· Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

· Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to implementation.

· Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

· Debug issues and provide fixes for live services.

· Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

· Suggest improvements to system performance and reliability.

Requirements

· 6–8 years of backend development experience.

· Strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS.

· Solid experience with distributed, high-volume systems.

· Working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).

· Good Debugging and Problem Solving skills

· Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins) and caching technologies is desirable.

· Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skills.

· Experience in payments system is a must.
