Job Description

As a
Senior/Staff Engineer
at SISC, you will design and build large-scale backend systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor engineers. You will play a key role in ensuring service reliability, scalability, and quality, while actively contributing to coding and technical problem-solving.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • Debug complex issues in distributed systems and ensure reliability.
  • Lead peer reviews, maintain coding standards, and guide junior engineers.
  • Support and improve live services with strong ownership.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of backend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in
    Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS
    .
  • Solid experience with
    distributed, high-volume systems
    .
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Hands-on with CI/CD (Jenkins) and caching technologies Redis or Similar.
  • Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in payments system is a must.
