Job Title: Field Sales Engineer Industrial Automation

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, NCR/Delhi

Experience: Minimum 2 years Automation Sales (Mandatory)

Role Overview

We are hiring a highly driven Field Sales Engineer whose primary mission is to win business,

close deals, and aggressively grow market share for VIPA PLCs & I/Os, Yaskawa Drives,

Movicon SCADA and other Automation products from our product basket.

This is a pure sales-focused role targeting OEMs, Engineering and project Companies (EPCs),

and Project-based System Integrators. Strong commercial mindset and hunger for targets are

essential.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Market Expansion

Drive sales growth for VIPA PLC systems, VIPA I/Os, Yaskawa Drives, and Movicon

SCADA solutions.

Hunt for new OEMs and project opportunities and convert them into long-term

accounts.

Build and aggressively expand relationships with OEMs, EPCs, and Project

Companies.

Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation technical pitching negotiation, order closure.

Deliver and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

Position automation solutions to replace competitors and win projects.

Conduct hard-hitting product demos, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations

.

Work closely with customer decision-makers including design engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.

Push for brand approvals, vendor registrations, and repeat orders.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

Track competitor pricing, product positioning, and installed base.

Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reports.

Identify fast-growing industries, upcoming projects, and OEM design.

Candidate Profile

Education

Diploma or bachelor degree in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical /

Mechatronics / Automation Engineering

Experience

Minimum 3 years of proven field sales success in industrial automation.

Strong exposure to PLCs, I/O systems, VFDs, and SCADA (VIPA, Yaskawa, Movicon

experience is a major advantage).

Basic exposure on IIoT and cybersecurity based industrial automation solutions

Demonstrated ability to close OEM and project-based business.
