Job Summary:

The Counselor is responsible for providing emotional, academic, and behavioral support to individuals or groups. The role focuses on helping people understand and overcome personal, social, or psychological challenges through counseling sessions, guidance, and appropriate interventions.

Key Responsibilities:1. Counseling & Guidance

  • Provide confidential one-on-one and group counseling sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues.
  • Help clients/students develop coping strategies for stress, anxiety, depression, peer pressure, and relationship issues.
  • Offer guidance on academic, career, or personal challenges.

2. Assessment & Intervention

  • Conduct assessments (psychological, behavioral, or aptitude-based) when required.
  • Develop and implement counseling plans and intervention strategies tailored to individual needs.
  • Refer clients to psychologists, psychiatrists, or specialized services if necessary.

3. Awareness & Training

  • Organize workshops and seminars on mental health, career planning, and personal development.
  • Promote awareness about emotional well-being and a positive institutional culture.
  • Provide counseling-related inputs during student or staff orientations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
