Job Description: Machine Learning Engineer

We are a software development company in the healthcare sector, seeking an experienced and AI / Machine Learning Engineer. Our focus is on leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and machine learning models to revolutionize the medical device landscape. The successful candidate will possess expertise in areas such as Large Language Models, Time Series Forecasting, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Recommender Systems, Anomaly Detection, Data Mining, SQL, UI/UX Development, and Cloud Computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Large Language Models: Develop applications using large language models like GPT3.5/4 and LLAMA2 to extract insights and automate processes.
  • Time Series Forecasting: Utilize machine learning techniques to create models that can predict future trends based on historical healthcare data.
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): Implement NLP techniques to analyze and interpret complex medical text data.
  • Recommender Systems: Design and develop personalized recommendation algorithms to optimize device usage and enhance patient care.
  • Anomaly Detection: Create models capable of identifying unusual patterns or outliers in healthcare data to enhance early detection of potential health risks.
  • Data Mining and SQL: Extract and analyze data from various sources using advanced data mining techniques and SQL.
  • UI/UX Development: Work in collaboration with the UI/UX team to integrate machine learning models into the user interface of our medical devices, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Cloud Computing: Use cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for model training, deployment, and scaling.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare sector regulations in all machine learning solutions, maintaining rigorous documentation and validation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the aforementioned areas, particularly in Large Language Models, Time Series Forecasting, NLP, Recommender Systems, Anomaly Detection, Data Mining, SQL, UI/UX Development, and Cloud Computing.
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, or Keras.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector and a solid understanding of its regulatory landscape.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of privacy and security standards in the healthcare sector would be a significant plus
