Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance department. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy in reporting. This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow their career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and statements.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
  • Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • She must have a good knowledge and experience with Tally
    .
  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and filing of accounting documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or prior experience in accounting/finance will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation processes.
