Key responsibilities
Client management: Identify and develop relationships with clients, understand their needs, and represent their interests in real estate transactions.
Market analysis: Conduct research to advise clients on market conditions, property values, and competitive pricing.
Property marketing: Create property listings, take photos, host open houses, and promote properties through various channels to attract buyers or renters.
Negotiation: Present offers to sellers, facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers, and help secure the best possible terms for clients.
Document management: Prepare and review purchase agreements, deeds, rental agreements, and other necessary contracts and documents.
Transaction support: Guide clients through the entire closing process, coordinating with other professionals like mortgage lenders, inspectors, and attorneys.
Skills and qualifications
Required: A valid real estate license is essential.
Skills:
Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions.
Knowledge:
Understanding of local real estate markets, trends, and laws.
Familiarity with mortgage financing options.
Other: A valid driver's license is often required.
