Job Title: SEO Specialist (Technical & On-Page) – Healthcare Industry

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist with a strong background in technical SEO and on-page SEO, particularly in the
healthcare industry
. You will be responsible for improving our websites'
organic visibility
, supporting
patient acquisition
, and ensuring
SEO best practices
are followed across all digital healthcare content.

Key Responsibilities – You must have experience with:

  • Technical SEO audits
    – Identify and fix crawl errors, indexing issues, broken links, and improve page speed for healthcare websites.
  • On-page SEO
    – Optimize keywords, titles, meta descriptions, headers, and content structure for health-related topics.
  • Structured Data (Schema Markup)
    – Implement medical-specific schema (e.g., Physician, MedicalCondition, Hospital) to improve rich results.
  • Manage and optimize
    XML sitemaps
    ,

    ,
    canonical tags
    , and
    hreflang tags
    (if applicable).
  • Use tools like
    Google Search Console (GSC)
    ,
    Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
    ,
    Screaming Frog
    ,
    Ahrefs
    , or
    SEMrush
    to monitor site performance.
  • Collaborate with
    medical content teams
    ,
    web developers
    , and
    marketing staff
    to ensure SEO is aligned with healthcare goals.
  • Track and report on
    SEO KPIs
    – including traffic, rankings, impressions, click-through rate (CTR), and crawl errors.
  • Stay updated with
    Google algorithm changes
    and healthcare-related SEO trends (e.g., YMYL, E-A-T guidelines).
  • Ensure all pages meet
    HIPAA compliance

    accessibility standards
    , and other healthcare regulations as needed.

Must-Have Experience:

  • 3-5 years
    of proven experience in
    technical and on-page SEO

  • Experience working with
    healthcare websites

  • Deep understanding of
