The Chip Level Service Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware issues at the component level for laptops, desktops, and mini PCs. The role requires strong technical expertise in motherboard-level repairs, SMD component handling, and advanced fault-finding skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues at the chip level for laptops, desktops, and mini PCs.
  • Perform motherboard-level tasks such as IC replacement, SMD soldering, track repair, and short-circuit troubleshooting.
  • Use a digital multimeter for all diagnostic and testing activities.
  • Conduct functional testing after repair to ensure the device operates correctly.
  • Maintain repair logs, update service reports, and coordinate with the service team regarding spares and repair status.
  • Follow safety, quality, and ESD standards during all repair procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Hardware, or related field.
  • Fresher to 5 years of experience in chip-level repair (laptops/desktops/mini PCs).
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, SMD components, and motherboard schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with reballing, micro-soldering, and power section troubleshooting.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools like a multimeter and, DC power supply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
