Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with at least 10 years of hands-on experience to oversee and manage our Institutions IT infrastructure, systems, and team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of our IT operations, aligning technology solutions with business objectives, and leading a team of IT professionals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all information technology and computer systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Plan, organise, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  • Design, implement, and enforce IT policies, systems, and procedures to ensure data security, network access, and backup systems.
  • Analyse departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend technology solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee and optimise IT budgets, vendor management, and cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments to ensure information security and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and robust data backup strategies.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software for system upgrades and business growth.
  • Provide technical support, training, and troubleshooting for end-users to ensure smooth & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant IT management experience, with proven leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, system security, and data governance.
  • Hands-on experience with server management, cloud solutions, and enterprise software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial constraints, vendor relationships, and compliance processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
