Job Title:* Safety Officer (Interior and Civil Work)*

Location: Ernakulam / Trivandrum (candidates should be willing to work across Kerala)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation of safety standards, procedures, and practices across all interior and civil project sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify risks and hazards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies in compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Provide safety training and awareness programs for site workers and staff.
  • Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure use of PPEs and safe working methods by all workers at the site.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain safe working environments.
  • Maintain documentation related to safety compliance, audits, and reports

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer in interior/civil construction projects.
  • Certification: NEBOSH certification (mandatory).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, construction practices, and risk assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to enforce safety compliance at all levels.
