Roles and Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Oversee and manage all hub operations during shifts, including inbound and outbound processes.
- Ensure timely sorting, loading, and dispatch of consignments to meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor real-time operational metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide the shift team, including loaders, sorters, and drivers.
- Conduct regular briefings to align the team with operational objectives and safety protocols.
- Foster a productive work environment and address performance-related issues promptly.
- Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Manage and report incidents or discrepancies to higher management.
- Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks in operations and recommend process enhancements.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement automation and technology-driven solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of consignments and prepare shift reports for management review.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with transport partners, vendors, and internal departments for seamless operations.
- Address and resolve customer escalations related to operations.
- Ensure efficient handover between and day shifts.
