The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, goods, and services required by the organization. The role ensures cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Obtain quotations, compare offers, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain supplier database and update records of purchases, pricing, and other details.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse teams to ensure optimum inventory.
  • Ensure procurement complies with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Accounts, Sales, etc.) to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers.
  • Support in cost control and budget preparation related to procurement.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement/purchase (industry-specific experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of vendor management and contract management.
