Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Designer who brings creativity, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of international aesthetics to help us design and develop paper-based party supplies including paper cups, plates, napkins, and other printed products.

You will lead the creative vision for the Party Supplies category, ensuring that our product designs are not only trend-forward but also aligned with the tastes and standards of international markets, especially USA, Europe, and other export destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design collections of paper party products (plates, cups, napkins, etc.) for international markets, aligned with seasonal trends, global holidays, and retail cycles.
• Translate design briefs and trend reports into high-quality print-ready artworks.
• Conduct in-depth research on international design trends, color palettes, and cultural preferences (especially for US, European, and global audiences).
• Collaborate closely with the product development, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and print accuracy.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of packaging aesthetics, materials, and printing techniques relevant to export markets.
• Work directly with international buyers to customize designs as per their brand guidelines or seasonal themes.
• Create mood boards, pattern libraries, and concept decks for internal and external presentations.
• Ensure design files are production-ready.
• Maintain a strong eye for detail, quality, and consistency across SKUs and product lines.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in print/textile/surface design
• Prior exposure to party supplies, home décor, or gifting categories highly preferred.
• Prior experience designing for international markets (especially US and Europe) is essential.
• A strong portfolio showcasing original print and pattern work designed for products, not just digital use.
• Experience working with or in an export house or with international retail buyers is a big plus.
• Formal education in Textile Design, Surface Design, Graphic Design, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of printing techniques (e.g., offset, screen, flexographic), materials, and production constraints.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Mockup and other relevant design tools.
• Strong grasp of global design trends, cultural sensitivities, seasonal patterns, and aesthetic differences between regions.
• A proactive, independent worker who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up environment.
