Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Key Account Manager for the Genset Industry to join our team in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai. This is a full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts and leading efforts to maintain and expand relationships with strategically important clients, ensuring their absolute satisfaction with our products and services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Key account management experience in the genset or related industry is mandatory and critical for this role. (Mandatory skill)
- Proven experience in B2B sales with a track record of successfully handling corporate clients and managing accounts effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in client relationship management, with strong interpersonal skills and the capability to engage with varied stakeholders.
- After-sales support expertise, focusing on maintaining customer satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Sound knowledge of electrical equipment, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly to clients.
- Effective negotiation skills with an aptitude for maximizing revenue while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, which enable clear and effective interaction with internal and external parties.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with key business clients, acting as the primary point of contact between them and the company.
- Lead client account planning cycles and ensure clients' needs and expectations are met through the delivery of excellent service.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and development, executing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and enhance client engagement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver seamless service to clients, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and maintaining a high level of service quality.
- Conduct regular reviews and report client activities to relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure successful contract conclusions with clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors to effectively position our offerings to clients.
- Ensure all account activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
