Job Title: Plant Operations and Maintenance Specialist (STP, WTP, RO & Sump Pumps)

Job Summary

The Plant Operations and Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation, maintenance, and servicing of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. This role requires significant technical expertise, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to act as the primary, independent technical representative for the client on-site.

Key Responsibilities

A. Plant Operation and Monitoring

* Ensure the STP, WTP, RO plants and sump pumps to be in working condition dition at any time. Incase of breakdown, need to get rectify through registered vendor.

* Conduct routine water quality tests and chemical analysis to ensure output meets required regulatory and operational standards quarterly.

* Manage and maintain the inventory of all necessary operational chemicals and consumables.

B. Maintenance, Servicing, and Troubleshooting

* Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance on all electro-mechanical equipment within the water treatment plants.

* Service, overhaul, and troubleshoot all types of pumps and motors, including but not limited to:

* Sump pumps

* Hydropneumatic pressure pumps and booster pump systems.

* Dosing pumps and circulation pumps.

* Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical (minor), and plumbing faults in the treatment plants and associated utility areas.

* Maintain and repair filters, membranes, control valves, and piping networks associated with the WTP and RO systems.

C. Reporting, Documentation, and Compliance

* Maintain and update all types of reports, checklists, and logs, including:

* Daily operational checklists and parameter readings.

* Preventive and corrective maintenance reports.

* Chemical consumption and inventory reports.

* Incident and breakdown reports.

* Ensure all plant documentation is current and compliant with internal and external regulatory requirements.

D. Site Management and Client Relations

* Represent the company and handle the site alone, taking ownership of all technical and operational issues.

* Act as the primary point of contact for the client regarding STP, WTP, and RO performance.

* Answer all queries from the client professionally, clearly, and effectively, providing technical explanations and updates on system status.

* Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while engaging with site management and client personnel.

E. Travel and Support

* Visit other sites as and when required to provide technical support, inspections, or assistance.

* Perform both engineering-related (e.g., troubleshooting, technical audits) and non-engineering work (e.g., material collection, site coordination) to support the business as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

* Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent technical certification).

* Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of commercial/industrial STP, WTP, and RO plants.

* Technical Skills: Strong practical knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, and PLC/automation basic functions.

* Communication: Medium verbal and written communication skills (English/Local language) to clearly explain complex technical issues to non-technical clients.

* Work Style: Proven ability to work independently, manage a site, prioritize tasks, and handle pressure during breakdowns.

* Other: A valid driving license and be willing to travel to other sites on short notice will be counted as additional benefits.

*Base location will be Sector 90, Noida.
