Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety / B.Sc. (Safety/Environment/Science) / RLI Safety Diploma (ADIS/PDIS).

Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Safety, preferably in Steel & Iron Industry..

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor safety compliances during shift operations.

  • Conduct and document risk assessments, hazard identification, and control measures.

  • Ensure adherence to IMS (Integrated Management System) policy and safety standards.

  • Carry out safety audits, inspections, and prepare compliance reports.

  • Investigate accidents/near misses, prepare reports, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

  • Organize and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.

  • Prepare and conduct mock drills (fire, evacuation, emergency response).

  • Regular monitoring of unsafe acts and conditions, escalating issues as necessary.

  • Coordinate with statutory bodies and ensure compliance with all legal requirements under the Factories Act and other applicable regulations.

Any Other Skill / Attribute:

  • Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols, legal compliances etc.

  • Proficiency in incident reporting, documentation, and IMS audit.

  • Ability to train and influence workforce towards safety culture development.

  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel etc)
