Job Description

As a Security Professional - Aero/Defense Dispatch Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within an aerospace and defense environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and assisting with access control to help to deter incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the aerospace and defense location.
• Receive and document calls for service, incidents, and/or emergencies, maintaining accurate records and logs according to site-specific procedures.
• Coordinate with on-site security-related teams to respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate important information to appropriate personnel and management in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries related to security-related protocols and access control.
• Assist with the monitoring of surveillance systems and alarms, promptly reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
