Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for the Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai branches. Candidate should have 15 to 20 years experience in Customs house/clearance, freight forwarding, pricing and team management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the CHA, Freight Forwarding and Pricing in all the branches and report.
  • Ensure adherence to customs regulations, maintain accurate records, and prepare/submit necessary documentation for import/export.
  • Supervise and manager team, ensuring efficient clearance processes and timely shipment delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external to ensure smooth shipment execution and ensure the pricing is done as per the company standard/practice.
  • Prepare and process necessary shipping documents, such as bills of lading and customs declarations.
  • Manage and mentor branch staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are met by the team.
  • Monitor and analyze financial, sales, and operational reports.
  • Ensure branch compliance with all company policies and legal regulations.
  • Coordinate with other branch managers and upper management to align goals and strategies.
  • Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly.
