Role SummaryYou will own the end-to-end operational onboarding and life-cycle management of all third-party (3P) content partners feeding Elsevier's AI products. Acting as the central orchestrator between partner organizations and our internal Product, Engineering, Legal and Finance teams, you will ensure content flows efficiently, contracts progress smoothly through internal processes, and stakeholders always know "where we are" against ingestion targets.Scope noteIndividual contributor (no direct reports)Contract negotiation handled by Business Development; you shepherd agreements through Legal / SalesforceMost partners are in North America and Europe; occasional business-hours overlap meetings requiredGrowth path may evolve toward Product Manager roleKey ResponsibilitiesContent Provider ManagementOwn day-to-day relationship and SLA adherence for ~100 live providers across journals, books and OA aggregatorsEnsure compliance with internal standards and timelinesCoordinate monthly ingestion, QA sign-off and payment cycles via Salesforce and FinanceContinuous Improvement and Scale Drive workflow optimization; reduce average onboarding timeTrack and manage content ingestion and delivery pipelinesProactively identify bottlenecks or operational inefficienciesInvestigate and works with appropriate internal teams and external partners to address and resolve issuesLead rollout of automated contract flows and maintain playbooks for new partner typesData and ReportingPublish monthly Tableau dashboards on ingestion volume vs. targets, partner health and revenue shareEscalate risks early and maintain a transparent knowledge-base for internal stakeholdersSupports the creation of and maintenance of a centralized knowledge base to support stakeholder transparency and accountabilityRequired Qualifications3 + yrs in content operations or partner enablement within publishing  or SaaSProven program-management skills across functionsWorking knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM workflowsData fluency: can interpret dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) and spot anomaliesStrong stakeholder communication and issue-resolution abilitiesFamiliarity with digital content licensing concepts (rights, metadata, revenue share) a plusNice-to-HavesExperience with AI-powered discovery, STM content, or open-access aggregationExposure to product development methodologies and software e.g. JIRA/ConfluenceWorking EnvironmentLocation: Remote or hybrid within North America or Europe time zones.Travel: < 10 % for occasional partner or team off-sites.Reports to Director of Product Management; partners daily with Business Development, Engineering, Legal, and Finance.Why Elsevier?You'll sit at the heart of our strategy to transform trusted research content into AI-ready assets, enabling breakthrough discovery for millions of scientists worldwide.
