Team Description:
The Finance team oversees accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial operations across all Wego entities. The team ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and international regulations, and effective management of resources to support Wego's strategic and operational objectives.

The Role:
The Finance Intern will support the finance team with reconciliations, accounting entries, and documentation. This role provides hands-on exposure to financial processes and opportunities to contribute to improving operational efficiency.

What you will be working on:

  • Perform daily and weekly reconciliation of flights, hotels, and activities suppliers
  • Follow up with stakeholders on reconciliation discrepancies
  • Document OTA workflow processes and reconciliation procedures
  • Book supplier invoices and payments into the accounting system on a timely basis
  • Assist in month-end closing accounting tasks
  • Provide ideas to improve reconciliation processes and efficiency
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
