Job Overview
Mekanism Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-focused Business Development Executive with a proven track record and a minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or business development. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to the company's growth by driving new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and leading sales initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, leveraging experience to help achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through comprehensive market research, networking, and strategic outreach activities.
- Develop, customize, and present proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to effectively address client requirements.
- Maintain, analyze, and update customer and lead information using CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their evolving business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, collaborating with team members to meet organizational targets.
- Coordinate with marketing, product, and technical teams to align sales strategies with business goals and enhance client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's market presence.
- Prepare and submit regular, data-driven reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and achieved results.
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing best practices and sales techniques as appropriate.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related function within finance or the IT industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end sales processes, lead management, and client relationship management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Able to work independently, take ownership of projects, and effectively contribute to team success.
- Highly goal-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced business environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to achieving and exceeding targets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Superior time management, multitasking, and task prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to establish, develop, and maintain professional business relationships.
