As an Industrial Client Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the clients thinking and build consensus for Microchips solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.
More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position:- Manage and expand strategic accounts, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction
- Identify the key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchips solutions whilst supporting them within their organization
- Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across clients divisions and geographical locations
- Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients
- Build strong partnerships with industrial clients by presenting Microchips unique business insights and cutting-edge technologies
- Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities to engage new clients
- Develop compelling business cases to initiate contact with prospects in early sales funnel stages
- Apply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challenges
Microchips non-commissioned total compensation and benefits package includes a competitive base salary, bonus aligned with company goals, employee stock purchase program, etc.

Requirements/Qualifications: Job Requirements- Solid understanding of the ICT (Information and Communication Technology), Enterprise and Datacenter markets
- Ability to create market specific analysis and mapping these to Microchip solutions
- Building, maintaining and synergizing partnerships with our distribution network
- Understanding Microchip's technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our clients business requirements
- Ability to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contacts
- Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teams
- Ability to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions
- Understanding Microchip's technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our clients business and system requirements
- Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to enhance productivity, decision-making, and customer engagement
- Masters/Bachelors degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Business fluent language skills in German and English
- Relevant market knowledge and industry experience
- Strategic/Critical ThinkingSystematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible client pain points, expectations, and implicit needs; brainstorms with team members to devise solutions to solve complex client challenges.
- CommunicationTailors communication to the clients needs with authority; effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal InfluenceUses rational and emotional drivers that would appeal to clients to comfortably drive conversations to elements of value for both parties.
- NetworkingIdentifies the right client stakeholders and builds connections quickly to drive consensus for design wins; works cooperatively with a wide range of internal stakeholders for success.
