This is a remote position.
Want to take ownership of Contour's publishing function, lead a team of team leaders, and make sure our academic resources are published with accuracy, clarity, and speed every week?
At Contour, we are looking for a proactive and people-focused Publishing Lead who thrives on structure, communication, and collaboration. You will oversee the publishing pipeline that includes three key teams: Graphics, Formatting, and Proofreading, and ensure that every deliverable meets Contour's quality standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading through people, maintaining smooth communication, and building systems that keep everything running efficiently.
Who We Are
Contour Education is reshaping what great education looks like at scale. Founded in 2020, we have grown from a handful of students to over 8,000 students and 320+ team members in just a few years, and we are only getting started.

Behind the scenes, we operate on lean systems, automation, and strong cross-team collaboration that allow us to scale fast while maintaining premium quality.

- Manage end-to-end publishing operations, including scheduling, quality checks, and final delivery of academic resources.
- Coordinate with teams across time zones, ensuring smooth alignment between India-based teams and Contour's Australia operations.
- Identify process gaps, track performance trends, and implement system-level improvements to make publishing faster, more accurate, and more scalable.
- Foster a culture of clarity and ownership by guiding team leads on planning, communication, and people management.
