Job Profile: BID Manager

Location: Andheri East

Industry: IT Solutions / System Integration / Infrastructure & Services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end bid management activities for large IT infrastructure, software, and services opportunities (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and Tenders).
  • Study customer requirements, analyze RFP/RFQ documents, and ensure complete and timely bid submission.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, legal, commercial, procurement) to collect inputs for preparing competitive and compliant proposals.
  • Prepare technical and commercial documentation, proposals, compliance matrices, and project timelines.
  • Review and enhance proposal qualityfocus on accuracy, grammar, formatting, branding, and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Maintain bid tracker, update management on bid status, and ensure documentation control and filing.
  • Interact with OEMs/partners for price support, solution validation, and proposal alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and manage multiple bids concurrently.
  • Ensure post-bid follow-ups for presentations, negotiations, and award status.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Any Graduate
  • 5+ years of experience in bid/proposal management in the IT/System Integration industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes for Government, PSU, and Enterprise customers.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), tender portals, and proposal tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience in dealing with GeM and other e-tendering platforms.
  • Knowledge of networking, server, storage, and cloud technologies is a plus.
