Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Developers and other key business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with exceptional quality. You will also coordinate with our technology agency partners, managing external developers and aligning their work with internal project goals. You will play a pivotal role in managing sprints, facilitating communication and driving project success in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing and closing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Coordinate and manage sprints, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Developers and Business Stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope and set objectives.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with external technology agency partners, ensuring their deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Track project progress, identify risks and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, status reports and meeting notes.
  • Ensure clear, consistent and effective communication among all project participants, both internal and external.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive and productive team environment.
  • Continuously identify process improvements to optimize project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.
  • Proven experience managing sprints and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience coordinating with external technology agencies or remote development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and detail-oriented.
