Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee financial operations, manage client accounts, and lead the accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving the performance of the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Handling:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the clients regarding account-related matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Ensure timely resolution of client queries.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants and junior staff.
- Allocate tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular team reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Financial Management:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including calculating and filing of GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESIC and advance Tax, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with auditors for annual audits.
- Implement internal controls and process improvements.
- Review and prepare MIS Reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and team and client management.
- Proven experience in client management and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
