Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst-Junior based in Bengaluru. The role involves managing daily accounting processes, performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. The AP Analyst will also assist in periodic reporting and provide support for audits and other finance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Verify invoices & supporting docs (MIS, rates, trip details, approvals, toll/extra charges).

B. Validate contracts, addendums, GPS/Geo-tracker data for KM claims.

C. Process invoices in SAP with correct GL, tax & cost center.

D. Coordinate with vendors & internal teams for approvals/clarifications.

E. Prepare weekly invoice dashboards & ageing reports.

F. Skills Needed: SAP/ERP, Excel, accuracy, analytical skills, good communication.

KPIs: SLA adherence, accuracy, reduced ageing, timely reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and hands-on experience in Account Reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Finance-related tasks with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data and ensure operational accuracy
  • Effective Communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools is an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
  • Internship or prior experience in a similar role is a plus
