Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Functional Consultant with a strong background in SAP ECC implementation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, configuring SAP PM modules, and ensuring successful deployment of plant maintenance processes within SAP ECC.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end SAP PM module implementation in ECC environment.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure SAP PM module (equipment master, functional locations, maintenance orders, task lists, notifications, maintenance plans, etc.).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, QM, FI, CO) to ensure integration and data consistency.
  • Develop and execute test scripts for unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and go-live support.
  • Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP developers) for custom developments and enhancements.
  • Participate in data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, and validation.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP PM.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and best practices in SAP configuration.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as an SAP PM Functional Consultant.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC (not just S/4HANA) implementation and support.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP PM business processes including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of master data (equipment, functional location), order management, notification processing, and maintenance planning.
  • Experience with integration points between PM and other SAP modules like MM, PP, and QM.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects (at least 12 end-to-end ECC implementations).
