Role & responsibilities

  1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

  2. Plan and carry out preventive maintenance (PM) as per schedules for CNC machines, hydraulic presses, compressors, conveyors, and utilities.

  3. Implement predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil condition monitoring.

  4. Maintain PM checklists, records, and ensure compliance with TPM and IATF 16949 standards.

  5. Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance

  6. Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns, diagnose issues, and carry out corrective repairs to minimize downtime.

  7. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring problems.

  8. Coordinate with production and electrical maintenance teams to restore equipment operation efficiently.

  9. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

  10. Identify critical spares and maintain optimum inventory levels.

  11. Coordinate with the purchase department for procurement of spares, consumables, and maintenance tools.

  12. Equipment Installation & Commissioning

  13. Support installation, commissioning, and trial runs of new machinery and production lines.

  14. Verify equipment specifications, layout, and utility requirements.

  15. Documentation & Reporting

  16. Maintain equipment history records, breakdown reports, and maintenance performance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, downtime).

  17. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for management review.

  18. Support internal and external audits (ISO, IATF, TPM, customer).

  19. Safety & Compliance

  20. Adhere to safety standards and implement LockoutTagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance work.

  21. Ensure compliance with company safety, health, and environmental policies.

  22. Promote a culture of safe working and continuous improvement.

  23. Continuous Improvement

  24. Participate in Kaizen, 5S, Lean, and energy-saving initiatives.

  25. Suggest process or design improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
