Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee the mechanical maintenance activities of the steel wheel manufacturing plant, ensuring optimal functionality of equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of manufacturing machinery.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and address mechanical issues promptly, coordinating with the maintenance team to implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute scheduled maintenance outages, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing equipment and systems to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and the use of advanced maintenance technologies.

  • Stay abreast of industry advancements in mechanical maintenance techniques and technologies.

  • Hydraulic presses, Hydraulic system, Mechanical Presses, CNC machines, MTTR, MTBF, IATF, Root cause analysis, KAIZEN, Preventive maintenance

Preferred candidate profile

B.E / B.Tech Mechanical WITH 6-7 Years of experience.
