Key Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents to ensure clear understanding and testability.
  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive
    test cases
    ,
    test scripts
    , and
    test plans
    for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Perform
    functional testing
    ,
    regression testing
    ,
    UI/UX validation
    ,
    integration testing
    , and
    UAT support
    .
  • Work closely with the development team to identify, document, and track defects using tools like
    Jira
    or
    Azure DevOps
    .
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, custom objects, workflows, validation rules, triggers, and Lightning components.
  • Ensure
    data integrity
    by validating data migrations, imports, and integrations with external systems.
  • Participate in
    Agile/Scrum ceremonies
    and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain test automation scripts (using
    Selenium, Provar, or similar Salesforce QA tools
    ).
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and Salesforce release management processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years
    of experience in
    Salesforce QA/Testing
    .
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features, configurations, and limitations.
  • Experience in
    manual testing
    and familiarity with
    automation testing tools
    (Provar, Selenium, Apex testing frameworks).
  • Good knowledge of
    SOQL
    and
    Salesforce Data Loader
    for test data setup and validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like
    Jira, Confluence, TestRail
    .
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
