Job Summary

The Business Development / Partnerships Associate will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of Abhinandan Educational and Welfare Society (AEWS) by identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that enhance the organization's reach, resources and impact. The role focuses on securing CSR collaborations, government linkages and institutional funding to strengthen AEWS's flagship programs in early childhood care, women's skill development, and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities1. Fundraising and Proposal Development

• Identify and research potential CSR partners, government schemes, institutional donors, and philanthropic foundations aligned with AEWS's thematic areas.

• Develop concept notes, project proposals and funding applications tailored to specific donor requirements.

• Support the creation of compelling pitch decks, presentations, and donor communication materials.

• Track funding calls, RFPs and partnership opportunities, ensuring timely submission of proposals.

1. Partnership Management

• Assist in cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with corporate, institutional, and community partners.

• Coordinate partnership meetings, donor visits and field exposure sessions, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.

• Manage partnership agreements and MoUs, ensuring compliance with reporting and visibility requirements.

• Support donor stewardship through periodic progress reports and impact communication.

1. Research and Strategic Analysis

• Conduct landscape and donor mapping to identify emerging trends in CSR and social development funding.

• Analyze the performance of existing projects and partnerships to guide strategic planning.

• Benchmark AEWS programs with similar national and regional initiatives for competitive positioning.

1. Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain a centralized database of donor interactions, funding proposals and partnership pipelines.

• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual reports on partnership performance and fundraising progress.

• Coordinate internal documentation, ensuring that program and financial data required for proposals are up to date.

1. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with program, finance and communications teams to gather inputs for project proposals, reports and donor communication.

• Ensure that external communications and promotional materials align with AEWS's mission, values and brand guidelines.

• Support in organizing events, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns that showcase AEWS's work and impact.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Business Administration or related field.

• A postgraduate qualification in Development Management, Social Entrepreneurship or CSR would be an advantage.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development, fundraising, CSR partnerships, or project coordination within the development sector.

• Familiarity with CSR ecosystem, government social welfare programs and donor engagement practices.

Skills:

• Strong writing and communication skills with proven ability to draft proposals and reports.

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for managing donor relationships.

• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM tools.
