Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology or relevant discipline.
  • Must be UGC-NET qualified (Computer Science & Applications).
  • Experience:
  • Assistant Professor: Minimum of 5 years of teaching/research experience at the university/college level.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience with evidence of published work and contribution to academic/research excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate (BCA) and postgraduate (MCA) courses.
  • Design, develop, and update curriculum in line with current industry trends and academic advancements.
  • Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships.
  • Conduct high-quality research, publish in reputed journals, and present at academic conferences.
  • Mentor and guide students in academic and career development.
  • Participate actively in departmental activities, meetings, seminars, and workshops.
  • Contribute to institutional development, accreditation processes, and outreach initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing technical events, hackathons, coding competitions, and seminars.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong subject knowledge in programming languages, data structures, database systems, web technologies, AI/ML, cloud computing, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Research orientation with the ability to obtain grants and collaborate on funded projects.
